Megasino Sportsbook – Rules

Settlement of bets (All sports)

For the settlement of bets, the statistics of the official points provider or the official website of the respective competition or game are used.

If such official sources are not available or there is significant evidence of their inaccuracy, we will use independent evidence to settle the bet.

In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the case of significantly contradictory information, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.

In markets where the outcome is already determined, bets remain valid in the event of premature termination of the game, cancellation, suspension, etc.

Example: If a football match is abandoned at a score of 2:1, bets on Over/Under 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5 remain valid, all other lines are cancelled and refunded.

Bets on undecided markets, even if a natural outcome would suggest an indisputable result, are considered invalid.

Rules for individual sports

American football

Including NFL, NCAA College Football, WLAF, UFL, CFL and Arena Football.

If the venue is changed, bets already placed remain valid as long as the home team is still designated as such. If the home and away teams are reversed, bets based on the original fixture are void.

In 2-way markets, the push rules apply unless otherwise stated. Stakes on single bets are refunded; in combination bets, the selection is treated as a non-starter.

Pre-match bets (including 2nd half/4th quarter) INCLUDE overtime unless otherwise stated.

There must be 5 minutes or less of regular playing time remaining for bets to be valid – unless the outcome of the market has already been determined.

All NFL market and prop bets placed before kickoff will be settled according to the game statistics published on www.nfl.com on game day. Subsequent changes will not affect settlement.

All spread and total bets are subject to draw and push rules.

Team with the most pass yards

The score is calculated based on the most gross yards thrown.

Team with the most running yards

The calculation is based on the most total yards run (including negative yards).

Penalties

All betting markets on penalties are based on the opposing team accepting the penalty. Rejected penalties do not count.

Player special bets / benefits

Bets are considered "active" when the player has at least one down. Player comparisons are considered active when both players have at least one down. In case of a tie, push rules apply.

According to the NFL Game Book, the player must be officially active for the following betting markets:

First/Last or Sometime Touchdown Scorer

Bet on the name of the player who will score the first, last, or any touchdown – or that no touchdown will be scored. The player must complete at least one play or one down for the bet to be valid.

Prop bets before the start of the game WITHOUT overtime

The game must be fully completed for the following markets:

Half-time / Full-time score or double result

→ Prediction of the result at halftime and at the end of regular playing time.

Live betting / In-play betting on game/half-time/quarter

Extension is included unless otherwise stated.

The game or the relevant quarter/half must be played in full for bets to be valid – unless the result is already known.

For billing purposes, the following applies:

Half-time bets (the second half also includes points from extra time, if played)

Quarter bets (the 4th quarter also includes points from overtime, if played)

Half-time/full-time or double result: extra time is excluded.

Seasonal special bets

All season bets are valid only for regular season games. Player statistics are valid regardless of team changes, but the player must have played at least one snap.

Long-term/seasonal bets

Bets on the Super Bowl winner, conference winner, and division winner are valid regardless of the season length.

NFL wins in the regular season only count if the team plays all scheduled games.

Conference winner (AFC/NFC) = Team that reaches the Super Bowl.

Division winner = Team with the most wins in the regular season (NFL tiebreak rules apply).

Wildcard winners = Teams that qualify for the playoffs via the wildcard.

"Number One Seed" = Team with home-court advantage in all playoff rounds.

CFL “Reach Grey Cup” = The team that reaches the Grey Cup final is considered the division winner.

Conference/Division betting

Teams are grouped into tournaments by conference and division (e.g., in the NFL: 2 conferences – AFC & NFC – each with 4 divisions: North, East, West, South). Odds are offered for winning each group.

Australian Football (Australian Rules)

All betting markets for matches are settled including extra time, unless otherwise stated. Regular time must be completed for bets to be valid, unless otherwise stated.

If the game duration is changed by the association before the start of the game, the new game duration is considered regular and all bets remain valid, provided it is completed in full.

Gambling

If a match – including overtime – ends in a draw, the stake will be refunded unless odds for a draw were offered. Settlement will be based solely on the official AFL result.

Games that do not take place as planned

If the venue is changed, bets remain valid as long as the home team is still listed as such. If the home and away teams are reversed, bets are void according to the original listing.

Quarter bets (live and pre-match)

If a specific quarter is not completed, bets are void unless the market result has already been determined. If the game goes into overtime, this counts as the continuation of the 4th quarter for settlement purposes.

Half-time betting (live and pre-match)

If a half is not completed, bets are void unless the result is already determined. If extra time is played, it counts as the continuation of the second half for settlement purposes.

Half-time/full-time or double result

Predict the score at half-time and at the end of the game, including extra time.

Team scores first point

This market includes any point type (e.g., goal or behind) for billing purposes.

Team scores first goal

Only goals count for billing purposes.

Season betting (AFL)

Apart from the Premiership Winner title, all seasonal AFL bets are only valid for the regular season according to the official AFL standings.

In case of a tie, the team with the best percentage is considered the winner (or, in the case of the "Wooden Spoon" bet, the team with the worst percentage).

Most losses (Regular Season)

The team with the most losses will be the winner. In case of a tie, the difference between points scored and conceded will determine the winner. The regular season must be completed for bets to be valid.

badminton

Long-term betting (Outright)

Bets are valid regardless of whether the player actually participates or not ("all-in, compete or not").

Where applicable, the winner's ceremony determines the betting outcome. Subsequent disqualifications or appeals do not affect the settlement.

Win the game (Match Winner)

If a named player is replaced before the start of the game, all bets on that game are void.

Badminton (continued)

If a game starts but is not completed, all bets are void – unless the outcome of the respective market has already been determined.

Bets on markets where the outcome has not been clearly determined are invalid – even if the natural end of the game would have led to a specific result with a high degree of certainty.

Example: If a game is abandoned at a score of 20-17, bets on Over/Under 37,5 points are void – even if a final score above 37,5 was practically certain.

Live/In-Play Point Betting

You can bet on whether a player will win the next specific point. If the point is not played (e.g., the game ends), all bets on that point are void. If the point is awarded as a penalty point, the bets are also void.

Current/Next Game Leader by X points

If the specified score is not reached in the game, the team or player who wins the game will be declared the winner of that market.

baseball

Non-MLB games (including Minor League Baseball)

Pitchers are not listed; all bets stand regardless of who actually pitches.

The "8½ innings rule" applies, but if the mercy rule is invoked (game abandoned due to a large deficit), all bets stand as of the score at the time of abandonment. For 7-inning games (e.g., doubleheaders), the "6½ innings rule" applies.

In 2-way markets, push/draw rules apply unless otherwise stated.

Unplayed games as listed

If the venue is changed, bets already placed remain valid, provided the home team is still listed as such. If the home and away teams are reversed, bets are void according to the original listing.

Pre-match bets / lines

All pre-match bets include extra innings unless otherwise stated.

When the Mercy Rule is applied (abandonment due to excessive deficit), all bets are based on the score at the time of abandonment.

3/5/7-Inning Totals:

Bets are settled based on the score after 3, 5, or 7 complete innings, unless the stated total has already been exceeded. In that case:

Over bets are settled as winnings

Under bets are lost

3/5/7 inning lines:

Bets are settled based on the result after the first 3, 5 or 7 innings – unless the second team is already ahead (by runline) in the middle of the inning, or takes the lead in that half – in which case the second team is considered the winner.

Prop bets before the start of the game (including player bets)

When the Mercy Rule is applied: All bets stand as of the score at the time of abandonment.

Extra innings count unless otherwise stated.

All bets on the 1st inning: The first inning must be played in full, otherwise the bets are void, unless the result is already known.

Total score even/odd:

A score of 0 is considered "Even".

Team score even/odd:

A score of 0 is considered a "straight line".

Winning Margins

Subject to the "8½-inning rule". Billing includes extra innings for MLB games.

In non-MLB games where a draw is possible, the option will be offered accordingly.

If an MLB game ends in a tie after being abandoned/suspended, bets are void.

Leading after x innings

The score is determined by the total points after x completed innings, unless the second team is already in the lead or takes the lead midway through the inning – in which case that team is considered the winner.

Double headers

If two games are played on the same day between the same teams, and there is only one betting odds, the result of the first game to start applies.

Money Line

Subject to the "4½ innings rule".

Run Line / Alternative Handicap

Subject to the "4½ innings rule".

Pre-match totals / alternative totals

Subject to the "4½-inning rule" – EXCEPTION:

If the total score is already above the specified value, the following applies:

Over bets are considered won

Under bets are lost

Team Totals

The same applies to the "4½-inning rule", except:

If the team total has already been exceeded: Over bets win, Under bets lose.

Overtime (To Go To Extra Innings)

The 9th inning must be completed for bets to be valid. If the score is tied after the 9th inning, the bet on "Yes" (extra innings) is considered a winner – even if the extra innings do not take place.

Extension (continued)

If the score is tied after 9 innings, the "overtime" market is settled as "yes" – even if no extra innings are played (e.g., in case of game abandonment).

Win the inning (current/next)

The top and bottom of the specified inning must be completed, unless the second-batting team is leading when the game is called off – in which case that team is considered the winner.

The entire inning must be completed unless the second-batting team has already reached the runline and cannot be overtaken.

The inning must be completed unless the market outcome is already determined.

Leading after X innings

The inning must be completed unless the second-batting team is already leading when the inning is called off and cannot be overtaken.

If the Mercy Rule applies, the "Leader after X Innings" market is automatically awarded to the game winner.

Race-to-Markets / Team Totals / Total Hits

The “8½ innings rule” applies unless the result is already certain or a logical outcome of the game leaves no other decision possible.

In MLB Spring Training games, scoring always takes place after 9 innings.

If a game is interrupted or abandoned at 3:3 after 10 innings, all "Race to 4" bets will be voided.

Bets on “Race to 5/6/7” would be settled as “None of the teams” (Neither).

Victory with Marge

Subject to the 8½-inning rule.

Extra innings are also included in MLB games. This option is available for non-MLB games where a tie is possible.

If an MLB game is abandoned/suspended due to a tie, the bets are void.

Live/In-Play Betting

Under the Mercy Rule, the score at the time of cancellation applies.

The 8½ innings rule applies to "total runs".

All bets stand regardless of pitcher changes.

Extra innings count unless otherwise stated.

8.5 / 6.5 / 4.5 Inning Rules

8.5-Inning Rule for Run Line Betting:

The game must last at least 9 full innings (or 8½ if the second-batting team is leading).

When the Mercy Rule is applied, the score at the time of the cancellation applies.

Exception: Different rules apply to playoff games in MLB.

6.5-inning rule for 7-inning games:

The game must last at least 7 full innings (or 6½ if the second-batting team is leading).

When the Mercy Rule is applied, all bets remain in place as of the point of abandonment.

4.5 Inning Rule – Money Line & Total Line

At least 5 full innings must be played for bets to be valid – unless the second-batting team is leading after 4½ innings.

If the game is subsequently cancelled or suspended, the following applies:

The winner is determined based on the score after the last full inning.

unless the home team equalizes in the lower inning or takes the lead – then the score at the time of abandonment counts.

Exception: Different rules may apply in MLB playoff games.

When applying the Mercy Rule, the score at the time of the cancellation applies.

For bets to be valid, less than 5 minutes of regular playing time must remain – unless the market result is already determined.

Special rule for 3x3 or streetball:

Billing is carried out according to the official competition rules:

The winner is the team that first reaches 21 points or

The higher score after 10 minutes.

In the event of a tie, unlimited overtime will follow, which will be won by the team with a two-point lead.

In 2-way markets, push rules apply (draw = stake back), unless otherwise stated.

Single bets are refunded in the event of a push; in combination bets, the tip is treated as a "non-starter".

Basketball (continued)

Push rule in two-way markets

If a selection results in a draw, the bet is considered a "non-starter" (stake is refunded).

Regular playing time with the option of a draw.

Pre-match bets including special bets

All pre-match bets include extra time unless otherwise stated.

Extra time in tournament games with multiple games
